September the Great Emperor
I saw the September Issue yesterday and really loved it. The second really great fashion documentary this year! (Valentino: The Great Emperor, I mean) For those that love docs but aren’t fashion fanatics, both these movies are really about longstanding business relationships between two people…In Valentino it’s the designer and his forever lover and business partner, and in the September Issue it’s the 20 year friendship/working relationship between fashion editors Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington.
There’s much more to both these movies than what you think. Please see them!
In these trying economic times I know I’m supposed to be thinking about my rice rations and stone soup etcetera, but I am also thinking that owning one of these pairs of shoes could really lift the old spirits! All found on shopbop.
